Interealm lifts off with new PowerLaunch versions and distribution system.
AURORA, COLORADO, U.S.A., 1994 MAR 27 -- Interealm is announced a new distribution stategy that allows its products to be delivered to a user’s computer within 30 minutes. The I•Start program allows Interealm software products to be distributed in a “Try Before You Buy” form via online services and Internet FTP sites. Customers can download this software and try it out for a period up to 30 days. When the user has decided to purchase the product, they simply contact Interealm and purchase an I•Start Activation Kit, fully enabling the software package.
Interealm is currently selling I•Start Activation Kits at three levels : Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Gold Activation Kits provide the customer with an activation key and the full commercial package. Silver Activation Kits provide the customer with anactivation key and the latest program diskette with on-disk documentation. Bronze Activation Kits provide the customer with an activation key only.
All three levels provide the user with free, unlimited technical support via fax, e-mail, and telephone.

Interealm announced two new versions of its popular PowerLaunch software to be distributed under the I•Start program. PowerLaunch Lite 1.7, and PowerLaunch II 1.7.
PowerLaunch II 1.7 the popular desktop launching agent for the Apple Macintosh and Power Macintosh series now supports Finder-to-palette drag & drop capabilites under System 7 Pro. These new features allow files to be added and/or launched by simply dragging them to the PowerLaunch icon palette.
PowerLaunch Lite 1.7, a less-expensive version of its’ PowerLaunch II product, has all the same functionality as PowerLaunch II, with the exception of re-sizable palettes and multiple palette sets.
